About Call to the Wild Bushcraft
Andy Tiplady is a Bushcraft enthusiast and Outdoor Educationalist at heart, born and bred in Africa he grew up with the wilderness as his playground.
Over the years Andy has honed his bushcraft skills under the instruction of wilderness expert,
Ray Mears, culminating in completing the 'Journeyman', an accomplishment he is proud to have attained.
Born and bred in Africa, Andy played top class Rugby during his younger years and later qualified as a PE Teacher (BEd Hons), majoring in Outdoor Education and History. He has taught in a reputable Sheffield secondary school for many years, leading Duke of Edinburgh groups, all manner of sports and is qualifed in Mountain Leadership, SPA and is an avid lover and learner of all things bushcraft, wildlife, outdoor living. He loves teaching his family and others bushcraft skills in privately owned woodland on the edge of South Yorkshire's Peak District. A passionate, motivational and enthusiastic communicator, Andy is Outdoor First Aid trained and DBS checked.
